Explore Philadelphias Murals in the palm of your hand with a feature-rich new app for iPhone. Start your journey with the intro video narrated by musician and producer Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson of the legendary band, The Roots, then view the beautiful, hi-res images of murals themselves. Find murals plotted on the interactive map of the city, and learn about their history and inspirations through up-close image details, audio, slide shows, and other integrated exposition.

The Murals
The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program has created more than 3,000 murals, many of which represent important aspects of Philadelphia’s African-American history, traditions, and culture. The Albert M. Greenfield African American Iconic Images Collection, curated in partnership with the African American Museum in Philadelphia, showcases murals throughout the city that uniquely capture the rich African American experience in Philadelphia.
